It's not travel but it is an Adventure

So I decided to sign up to take part in this event for Easter Seals called Drop Zone. Basically I am going to go to the top of a 16 story building and then repel down it...and hopefully conquor my fear of climbing over the side of a building! Crazy I know...but apparently they train you really well for this and I wear a harness and everything so it sounds pretty safe. The thing is, I need to raise some money for it...my goal is $2000.00. The Adventure Begins

Ok, well it hasn't actually started yet, but the preparation is an adventure all on it's own so I feel like that is a fair enough title. For those that haven't heard, I'm heading out on a big tour of Europe starting this September. I will be flying into Greece and then working my way west. Countries that I intend to hit are Italy, Austria, Germany, Czech Republic, France, Spain, Italy, Portugal, Switzerland, and then perhaps Poland and Holland...ohh...and maybe Norway if Liz invites me! Then the plan is to move to Ireland to work for a while, and next summer journey to England and Scottland for a visit.
So keep coming back for a peek to see if I have added any fun stories! Instead of sending out mass emails I am going to just post my messages here...that way you can read whenever you want to and I don't fill up your inboxes!
